About nIc

The nIc Foundation is a newly formed non profit charity established in memory of Nicolas Resch.  Nic was the victim of a violent assault leading to severe head trauma injuries.  Out of honor and respect to Nic, this foundation is established promoting violence prevention strategies through an educational focus.

Lynn E. Marcks, mother of Nicolas Resch, is the Founder and CEO of the nIc Foundation.  With the help of her husband Steve Marcks and a highly talented team of officers and Board of Directors, the nIc Foundation is addressing the needs of school districts and communities in violence prevention educational strategies.

Since June, 2005, the nIc Foundation has been actively involved in area school districts and communities in building business partnerships; working on service learning projects; integrating character education into a standards based curriculum; authoring informational articles for parents and care givers; administering the one minute parent/ family survey; hosting charity fund-raising events; distributing pins and candles at local businesses in support of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week; and serving as a resource to parent/community organizations.
