Times of Crimes

 

The violent crimes of murder, rape and sexual assault, robbery, and assault occur both in daytime and nighttime hours.  This statistical data is from 2004:

 

51% of incidents of violent crime occurred during the day between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

 

Almost two-thirds of the rapes / sexual assaults occurred at night from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
