Family / Belonging:  The people to whom you have the primary bonds of relationship and acceptance are considered your family. This also includes the place where you live with your family.  Other words associated with family / belonging include descendents, ancestors, clan, network, parentage, relationships, tribe, security, attachment, and loyalty.

 

Honor:  Honor is high respect for the worth, merit, or rank of those in authority.  For example, showing honor toward parents, teachers, superiors, and national leaders.  Other words associated with honor include faith, high standing, reverence, and trust.

 

Achievement / Success:  Achievement and success means the accomplishment of something noteworthy and admirable.  This achievement and success may be at school, in the work place, playing sports, performance on a musical instrument, or in receiving an award. Additional words include mastery, triumph, fruition, attainment, effort, fulfillment, and performance.

 

Integrity:  Integrity is displayed by having a strict moral and / or ethical code.  A person who displays integrity has principles to live by.  Other words associated with integrity include goodness, honesty, and sincerity.

 

Compassion:  Compassion is defined as having a deep awareness of the suffering of another person along with the wish to help relieve the pain and suffering.  Other words associated with compassion include kindness, tenderheartedness, charity, and empathy.

 

Self-Worth:  A person who portrays self-worth has positive self-esteem and self-respect.  Other words associated with self-worth include pride, satisfaction, and self-confidence.

 

Freedom / Joy:  To have freedom and joy means being able to share one’s thoughts and feelings openly and spontaneously with others.  In turn, they are free to do the same.  Freedom and joy are often associated with cultural celebrations.  Other words associated with freedom and joy include opportunity, flexibility, privilege, happiness, elation, liveliness, and pride.

 

Generosity / Service:    To portray generosity / service means to share one’s unique gifts, talents, and skills with others as a way of serving humanity without expecting any reciprocation.  Other words associated with generosity / service include help, assistance, value, kindness, giving, charitableness, goodness, and unselfishness.
